KAREN NEDBAL - DIRECTOR OF MEMBERSHIP
Karen is responsible for all membership recruitment, retention, and benefits. She has more than 15 years of experience in product, service, trade show, membership and direct mail marketing both in the United States and overseas. Previously, she was Director of Membership and Marketing for the American Educational Research Association. She has worked in marketing for the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Language Academy. Karen received her B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Karen lives in Vienna, Virginia. She has lived and worked in Europe and Asia, is fluent in German and Mandarin Chinese, and loves traveling the world with her husband.
BRIAN BROOKMAN - SENIOR MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Brian has more than 20 years of experience in sales and senior sales management in multiple industries. Prior to joining SEIA he served most recently as Vice-President of Sales with Walls Industries developing diverse business channels within the organization. Brian has come on board with SEIA as Senior Membership Development Manager to maximize membership growth through clearly illuminating our value proposition to prospective members.
Brian is a graduate of Auburn University with a BA in Political Science. He resides in Annapolis, MD and thoroughly enjoys spending time with his daughter, being on the water anywhere, hiking, working out, and pulling for his Auburn Tigers. War Eagle!
MATT HANNON - ASSISTANT MEMBERSHIP MANAGER
Matt provides membership support and research for SEIA. Before joining SEIA, Matt worked for a Congressman on Capitol Hill as well as for the Senate Judiciary Committee. He graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies. In his spare time, Matt enjoys playing soccer, golfing, and snowboarding.
