Karen Nedbal - Director of Membership
Karen is responsible for all membership recruitment, retention, and benefits. She has more than 15 years of experience in product, service, trade show, membership and direct mail marketing both in the United States and overseas. Previously, she was Director of Membership and Marketing for the American Educational Research Association. She has worked in marketing for the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Language Academy. Karen received her B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Karen lives in Vienna, Virginia. She has lived and worked in Europe and Asia, is fluent in German and Mandarin Chinese, and loves traveling the world with her husband.
Catherine Burke - Assistant Membership Manager
Catherine works on SEIA's membership recruitment, retention, and benefits. Her professional background includes association membership and marketing work, most recently for the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. Catherine earned a B.A. in Geography from the University of Vermont. She enjoys reading, baking, biking, and exploring new neighborhoods.
Matt Hannon - Membership Recruitment Assistant
Matt provides membership support and research for SEIA. Before joining SEIA, Matt worked for a Congressman on Capitol Hill as well as for the Senate Judiciary Committee. He graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies. In his spare time, Matt enjoys playing soccer, golfing, and snowboarding.
