Industry Guidance through SEIA Committees
SEIA's committees play a major role in shaping SEIA policies and priorities. The committees—Conference, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), Government Affairs, Market Analysis and Research, Policy, Political Action Committee (PAC), and Public Relations— help guide SEIA's work and help strengthen the organization's capabilities. SEIA also has working groups, made up of SEIA members, that delve into accounting and finance, the Buy American Act, climate, the DOE solar technology roadmap, labor and worker training, siting and permitting, solar deployment, tax, trade, transmission, and utility-scale solar messaging.

Industry Specific Divisions

SEIA recognizes and champions all facets of the solar industry, whether you are a manufacturer or an installer or a financier. SEIA members choose to belong to one of four membership divisions—photovoltaic, solar services and consumers, solar thermal, or utility-scale solar power—and elect a representative to present their interests to the Board of Directors.
