About SEIA PAC
The near-term growth of the U.S. solar industry is dependent, in part, on national and state policy. As a maturing industry, we have a responsibility to support policymakers who will back pro-solar policies and provide financial contributions to the political campaigns of key policymakers.
The SEIA Political Action Committee (PAC) allows the solar industry to support candidates who are committed to expanding the use of solar technologies in the global marketplace. Corporations are barred by law from contributing to federal election campaigns, but individuals who work in the solar industry can aggregate their contributions through the PAC – enabling the solar industry to speak with one unified voice.
