- The Database of State Incentives for Renewables and Efficiency (DSIRE) is a site for information on federal and state incentives. This website provides summaries, facts, news and other information for incentives for renewable energy and energy efficiency.
- Vote Solar is a California initiative working at the state, federal and local level to implement programs and policies that allow strong solar markets to grow.
- American Solar Energy Society is comprised of solar advocates to advance education, research, and policy for the solar industry.
- The Department of Energy also provides information on state issues on renewable energy, energy efficiency and a comprehensive consumer product guide.
- The Solar America Communities Program is a DOE program helping local communities to realize the benefits of solar energy. The second edition of the Solar Powering Your Community: A Guide for Local Governments was released in January of 2011.
- SEIA is in a formalized partnership with the official SEIA Chapters to collaborate together to advance the solar industry.
