The Energy Department will present a live webcast on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. looking at solar finance for residential and commercial customers and roles of State and Local Government.

The Solar Finance for Residential and Commercial Customers and Potential Roles of State and Local Government webinar provides an overview of how residential and commercial solar projects are financed and the various roles that state and local governments can play to support the deployment of solar within their jurisdictions.

Featuring Jason Coughlin, a solar financing expert with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, this webinar will help state and local governments

  • Improve the economics of residential and commercial solar installations in their jurisdictions
  • Enhance the overall attractiveness of their solar market
  • Optimize the Implementation of cost-effective state-level policies to drive private investment in the development of solar markets.
