Clean Energy Ministerial 4

The Department of Energy invites SEIA member companies to attend the Secretary of Energy’s 2013 Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) in India this coming April.  Hosted in New Delhi on 17-18 April, 2013, ministers from over 20 participant countries will convene to discuss progress being made by the Clean Energy Ministerial’s 13 clean energy initiatives, explore new ways to enhance collaboration between participating governments, and develop strategies to drive public-private engagement in order to support clean energy deployment.  This will include plenary sessions for ministers and opportunities for public-private engagement through high-level roundtable dialogues addressing key energy policy questions.

One of the few official topics for discussion is the reduction of ‘soft costs’ for solar deployment.  If you are interested in participating in the CEM at your own expense, please contact Tom Kimbis.
