APS, SRP See Increased Solar Demand Despite Incentive Drops

Arizona Public Service Co. and Salt River Project are continuing to see what they call strong demand for solar incentives, despite a ratcheting-down of those funds in the past two years.

APS expects to get more solar installed this year than last through its recently passed 2012 renewable energy plan, and potentially a lot more despite a drop in both incentives and the amount it will collect from customers.
