WWF Google+ Hangout: The U.S. Goes Renewable

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) hosts a Google+ Hangout to discuss trends in renewable energy in the US. WWF’s renewable energy campaign promotes cutting edge renewable energy solutions like:

  • A new “Alternative Spring Break” program that will allow U.S. university students to install solar panels on low-income family homes.
  • The city of Cleveland’s new program that provides residents with 100% renewable electricity.
  • US installer programs that offer rooftop solar panels for FREE to homeowners, and offer referral fees to anyone who finds a customer.
  • How large companies like Wal-Mart are buying and installing more renewable energy than ever
