Arno, CEO of Recurrent Energy, took up the mantle of Board Chair on June 13th, 2012. With 10 years in the solar industry, Arno has built successful businesses in rooftop solar sales and installation, solar technology development, project finance, and utility scale project development.
In the last eight years as President and CEO of SEIA, Rhone Resch lead the industry's charge on the creation of the 30 percent investment tax credit, the 1603 Treasury Program, and over 18 other provisions that have helped grow the U.S. solar industry from a 52 MW/year market in 2004 to nearly a 2,000 MW/year market today.
Carrie is head of state advocacy efforts and was previously President of the Solar Alliance, which merged with SEIA on January 1st, 2012.
John Smirnow, Vice President of Trade & Competitiveness
John leads SEIA's advocacy in support of open and fair markets and growing the U.S. solar supply chain and manufacturing base. John also oversees SEIA's environment, health, and safety initiatives.
Tom leads the development of strategy to promote solar energy across the U.S. He oversees the departments of Communications, External Affairs, Membership, and Research.
