Trina Connects Two-Thirds Of 300 MW Solar Plant In China

Chinese vertically integrated solar company Trina Solar has confirmed that it has connected two-thirds of its Yunnan solar farm to the grid, surpassing 200 MW this week having added 133 MW in the third quarter alone. The solar project is located in China’s Southern Yunnan province and, once fully operational, will become the Yunnan region’s single-largest ground-mounted solar farm, and one of the biggest in China.
