Following their collaboration on a 148.5 MW utility-scale solar project earlier this year, SunLink Corporation has been selected as the project partner for a 112.7 MW solar PV portfolio project under development in the southeastern United States by Blattner Energy, a power generation contractor and leading provider of renewable energy construction in North America.

Continuing its strong growth, the United States installed 1,354 megawatts (MW)[i] of solar photovoltaics (PV) in Q3 2014, up 41 percent over the same period last year. The numbers come from the latest edition of GTM Research and the Solar Energy Industries Association's (SEIA) U.S. Solar Market Insight Report, released today. According to the report, Q3 was the nation's second largest quarter ever for PV installations and brings the country's cumulative solar PV capacity to 16.1 gigawatts (GW), with another 1.4 GW of concentrating solar power (CSP) capacity.

Renovus Solar held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newly renovated facility on Trumansburg Road in Ithaca. The company designs and installs renewable energy systems for homes and businesses throughout Central New York. Renovus says it has added more than 50 new jobs over the past year and expects further growth, with the addition of projects like its community Solar Farm, for one example.
