Strong intellectual property (IP) rights are vital to the creativity and innovation economies that are the backbone of America's global competitiveness.  Intellectual Property rights are critical to encourage investment and commericialization of new technologies, including solar energy. SEIA supports efforts to strengthen IP protections, and raise awareness of the value that IP brings to economic growth.  The following represents some of the work we have done to ensure that solar IP continues to be a leading engine of economic development across the country.
