Objective:
National Grid is seeking to purchase, own and operate up to 20 MW’s of “turn-key” solar distributed generation (roof or ground mounted) sited on Company and/or third-party-owned property located in pre-selected Massachusetts towns. For third-party located sites National Grid will be requiring a lease and making a lease payment for the space. National Grid will own the turn-key system and all the power and SRECs generated. Systems that are already in service and generating electricity will not be allowed. Transfer of an existing Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) or SREC contract or commitment will not be allowed.
