According to the SEIA/GTM Research U.S. Solar Market Insight Q2 2013 report there were 832 MW of solar PV installed in the second quarter of 2013, which means there is now 9,400 MW of solar energy in the U.S. That's a 15 percent increase over Q1 2013 (and it was solar’s second best quarter ever); keeping solar on pace to have a record-shattering year!
