Stephanie Bosh

Vice President of Communications

Steph Bosh serves as Vice President of Communications at the Solar Energy Industries Association, the national trade organization for America’s solar energy industries. She oversees SEIA’s communications team dedicated to promoting the organization and its 1200+ members companies—working together to achieve 30% of U.S. electricity generation by 2030 and fighting for policies that create jobs and promote the growth of reliable, low-cost, and renewable solar power.

Prior to SEIA, Steph served as executive director of corporate communications at JPMorgan Chase (JPMC).  There she managed a team she built from the ground up, working across all lines of business and corporate impact marketing to expand JPMC’s inclusive environment for employees worldwide, expanding access to financial services in underserved communities, building employer brand, and leveraging smart, impactful community investments that help move the equity needle and close the wealth gap.

In her previous role at JPMC, Steph led corporate responsibility communications for the firm’s most significant philanthropic programs including their $200 million investment in Detroit’s economic revitalization, global Future of Work portfolio and community development while also serving as regional communications director for the Mid-Atlantic region, managing cross line of business communications helping launch Chase’s national branch expansion in 2018.

Before joining JPMC, Steph managed state advocacy communications at the Pew Charitable Trusts, a global nonprofit in Washington, DC, focusing on public safety reform, election initiatives, access to rural dental care, and economic mobility for all.

Steph’s early career began on Capitol Hill, learning the rules of the political road there and on several campaigns, serving in multiple capacities from public policy and opposition research to field and media relations. She spent the 2008 presidential cycle flacking for now Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack’s presidential campaign before moving over to Hillary Clinton’s Iowa team.

Steph received her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Dakota and lives in Kensington, Maryland with her husband and twin daughters. If you can’t find her at her desk or playing with her kids, you’ll most likely track her down in her garden, on the beach or getting her splat points at Orange Theory Fitness.
