• North Star Solar Project in  was developed by D.E. Shaw Renewables Investments and came online in 2016. This 138 MW project produces enough electricity to power 19,329 homes.
• Walmart, Target, and Home Depot have all gone solar in Minnesota. Home Depot's 3 MW project in Webster is one of the largest corporate projects in the state. 
• At 93.4 MW, Marshall Solar Energy Project in Marshall is among the largest solar installations in Minnesota. Completed by NextEra in 2017, this solar project has enough electric capacity to power more than 13,082 homes.
