The Solar Energy Industries Association invites you to join us in Washington, DC on June 20th as a participant in SEIA’s Southeast States Federal Lobby Day.
The power-packed federal lobby day on Capitol Hill is focused on putting you in the room with lawmakers representing you in Congress – Senators and Representatives from the Southeast states including: Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
To make positive solar legislation happen, we must educate Members of Congress and their staff about solar's role in energy, the economy, jobs, tax, trade issues and more. This important work directly helps the industry and your company’s bottom line.
New this year: Lobby Day attendees are invited to attend a Lobbying 101 Training and Workshop where they will be trained in best practices for successful meetings on Capitol Hill. This training will take place on Wednesday June 19th from 3PM-5PM at SEIA offices and is followed by a welcome reception. On Thursday morning, Lobby Day attendees are highly encouraged to attend the breakfast briefing for a more in depth discussion on talking points before joining their peers and SEIA's government affairs staff for targeted meetings with lawmakers from the Southeastern States.
We hope to see you this June in Washington, DC!
This FREE event is open exclusively to members of SEIA and SEIA State Affiliates. Space is limited to 2 registrants per company.
