Jamel Dargan is a data engineer at SEIA. He is responsible for automating and enhancing SEIA's research products and providing data and analysis support across departments. In addition, he collaborates with external organizations on joint data collection efforts.
Prior to joining SEIA's research team, Jamel worked to standardize and improve processes and digital infrastructure for both nonprofit and federally contracted organizations.
Jamel was born in Tampa, FL and earned a Bachelor's degree in American Studies from St. Petersburg's Eckerd College. He lives in Norfolk, Virginia with his wife and two sons.
