Jeanne Armstrong

Senior Regulatory Counsel

Jeanne holds the position of Senior Regulatory Counsel at SEIA. In this position she manages regulatory initiatives before state agencies representing all major solar market segments. Currently focused on California she also will be assisting in regulatory matters to advance solar markets in other western states.
 
Prior to joining SEIA, Jeanne Armstrong was a partner at the San Francisco law firm Goodin, MacBride, Squeri & Day, LLP. In this role,  Jeanne represented SEIA (and its predecessor in California, the Solar Alliance) in matters before the California Public Utilities Commission. Before moving to California in 1998, Jeanne was a junior partner at the law firm of Wright & Talisman, a specialty firm focused on matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Jeanne holds a J.D. from the Catholic University Columbus School of Law and a B.A. from North Carolina State University. She is admitted to practice law in California, Washington D.C. and Maryland.
 
Jeanne lives outside of Sacramento and enjoys watching NFL Football, reading psychological thrillers, and spending time with her many grandchildren.
