Notable Solar Installations in Mississippi

  • Meridian Solar in Meridian was developed by Silicon Ranch and came online in 2019. This 83.6 MW project produces enough electricity to power 9,189 homes.
  • Lineage Logistics, Taylor Machine, and Toyota have all gone solar in Mississippi. Lineage Logistics' 1.5 MW project in Richland is one of the largest corporate projects in the state. 
  • At 143.9 MW, Sumrall Solar Farm in Sumrall is among the largest solar installations in Mississippi. Completed by Origis Energy in 2017, this solar project has enough electric capacity to power more than 15,817 homes.
