TUCSON - There is a bill that would limit the Arizona Corporation Commission's power to regulate renewable energy.

Solar developers are afraid this bill could halt solar development in Arizona in the long run.

HB 2789 would cap the state's renewable energy standard and tariff at 15 percent by 2025 and prevent the ACC from ever increasing that cap without the legislature's approval.
