Bill increasing renewable standard for rural co-ops passes committee

New Colorado Bill Would Expand Renewable Energy Standards
This bill increases the RES to 25% by 2020 for transmission cooperative electric associations that provide wholesale electricity and large coops that provide service to 100,000 meters or more, and eliminates the in-state multiplier for new electricity generation resources built in CO after January 1, 2015. Americans Want More Emphasis on Solar, Wind, Natural Gas
