Gestamp Solar signed a USD 28 Million contract with Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), an important oil company headquartered in Kuwait. It is a subsidiary of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, the Government company and is the world's fourth-largest oil exporter. The object of the contract is the engineering, the construction and the operation and maintenance of a the first utility scale photovoltaic plant in Kuwait called Umm Gudair Field a name which honors the region where it is located.
Washington Gas Energy Systems Announces Completion of Dynamic Energy's Solar Array at Skidmore College
Washington Gas Energy Systems, Inc. and Skidmore College today announced the completion of a solar project that will generate renewable energy in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. The solar array consists of 6,950 ground-mounted solar panels spanning eight acres of land owned by Skidmore College. Dynamic Energy developed the project and also managed engineering, procurement and construction. Construction began in March and the project was completed in July.

Edison International (EIX) utility Southern California Edison agreed to purchase 457 megawatts of capacity from three 8minutenergy Renewables LLC solar projects in Southern California.
The company signed a 20-year contract for power from the 51-megawatt Borden Solar Farm in Madera County, Folsom, California-based 8minutenergy said in an emailed statement. It will also buy energy from two projects in the Imperial Valley, the 154-megawatt Mount Signal Solar II and the 252-megawatt Mount Signal Solar V. Terms weren’t disclosed.
