Matrix Solar works with various private or public users by providing funding to install Solar generation equipment and selling the electric generated from that equipment back to the user. Matrix is responsible for design, installation and maintenance of the equipment. The user benefits by having a locked-in/predictable long term rate structure with no up from risk or capital outlays.
