Jessica Fang

As a Data Engineer for SEIA, Jessica builds the systems that collect, organize, and prepare the data used for SEIA's research products in a scalable way. She is responsible for the scripts which automate the maintenance and growth of the National Solar Database, as well as other data ingestion efforts. Jessica attended New York University, earning a B.S. in Computer Engineering, and has resided in Brooklyn, New York ever since. She spends her free time reading, gardening, and doing indie game development.

Tyler Thompson

As a Research Analyst, Tyler works to provide data and analysis that strengthen SEIA’s policy advocacy and public messaging. He is a contributing author to the Solar Means Business and Solar Market Insight reports and helps develop data visualizations and other research projects. Prior to joining SEIA, Tyler worked as a researcher for a political opposition research firm and received a B.A. in Government and Economics at Georgetown University. Tyler enjoys exploring the outdoors in and around Washington D.C., playing tennis and softball, and solving crossword puzzles.

Jamel Dargan

Jamel Dargan is the Manager of Data Engineering at SEIA. He is responsible for automating and enhancing SEIA's research products and providing data and analysis support across departments. In addition, he collaborates with external organizations on joint data collection efforts.   Prior to joining SEIA's research team, Jamel worked to standardize and improve processes and digital infrastructure for both nonprofit and federally contracted organizations.
