WASHINGTON D.C. — Following is a statement from Abigail Ross Hopper, president and CEO of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) on the U.S. House of Representatives failing to achieve the two-thirds majority necessary to override the President’s veto of the Congressional Review Act legislation that would overturn his two-year solar tariff moratorium.

WASHINGTON D.C. — Today the United States Senate passed legislation to repeal the Biden administration’s June 2022 proclamation to provide a two-year moratorium for new solar tariffs. The resolution now moves to President Biden’s desk where it is expected to be vetoed.
