Transmission Working Group,

As we’ve previously discussed, The Wilderness Society is hosting a webinar tomorrow to brief us on a recent settlement agreed to regarding the designation of west-wide energy corridors for electric transmission and gas pipelines.  These designations were required by EPAct 05, and several conservation groups sued BLM and other federal agencies after the original designations were made.  The settlement lays out principles for revising the energy corridors and improving stakeholder participation in the future.
