Dear Wholesale DG Working Group:

I was hoping to report to the WDG group that SEIA’s interconnection reform petition was on the agenda for the monthly FERC meeting to be held this Thursday December 20, 2012.    But, alas, it is not on the agenda.   I am hopeful that the petition will be on the agenda for the next FERC meeting in January and will do my best in the coming days to get a sense of the schedule.   If FERC acts in January I expect the issuance of a notice of proposed rulemaking with a comment period.    If that occurs we could see a final rule in the spring.  As far as SEIA work products are concerned I expect that we will need to comment on the proposed rule when it issues.
