New Colorado Bill Would Expand Renewable Energy Standards
This bill increases the RES to 25% by 2020 for transmission cooperative electric associations that provide wholesale electricity and large coops that provide service to 100,000 meters or more, and eliminates the in-state multiplier for new electricity generation resources built in CO after January 1, 2015. Congress Passes Continuing Resolution
The Senate and House passed a six-month funding bill to avert a government shutdown when the current continuing resolution expires March 27. The bill does not replace the sequestration, but does provide detailed appropriations for several departments.
