U.S. Solar Market Sees Best Q1 in History

BOSTON, Mass. AND WASHINGTON D.C., (June 18, 2019) – In the first three months of the year, the U.S. installed 2.7 gigawatts of solar photovoltaics (PV), making it the most solar ever installed in the first quarter of a year. With the strong first quarter, Wood Mackenzie Power & Renewables forecasts 25% growth in 2019 compared to 2018, and it expects more than 13 GWdc of installations this year.

SEIA Adds Storage, Manufacturing Divisions as Part of Planning for the Solar+ Decade

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), the national trade association for the U.S. solar energy industry, is adding divisions to focus more aggressively on solar and storage and on solar manufacturing. The new divisions are part of SEIA’s broader governance plan to enter the 2020s as America’s leading source of new electricity generation. SEIA also is launching committee’s on energy storage and community solar and establishing a working group to reduce the soft costs of going solar.

The University of Chicago RPS “Study” Sets a Debunking-Minded #EnergyTwitter on Fire

Conti Solar Selected to Provide EPC Services for NJR Clean Energy Ventures

Edison, NJ, March 26, 2019 - Conti Solar, a national solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), O&M and energy storage development company, announced today that it was selected by NJR Clean Energy Ventures (NJRCEV) to provide EPC services for two commercial solar projects located in Milford and Washington Township, New Jersey totaling approximately 20 megawatts (MW). NJRCEV, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, invests in, owns and operates residential and commercial solar projects and currently maintains a portfolio of over 250MWs throughout New Jersey.
