House Leaders’ 100 Percent Clean Energy Plan Draws Support From Solar Industry

SEIA Commends New York State for Signing Historic Renewable Energy Mandate into Law

Washington, D.C.—Today, Governor Cuomo signed the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act into law, one of the most aggressive renewable energy mandates in the United States. The historic law will require the state to procure 6 gigawatts of distributed solar by 2025 and for the state’s utilities to get 70% of its electricity from renewable energy by 2030.
